How does one build a strong LinkedIn profile that can attract the right jobs? Should I be careful about what I post online while applying to a B-school? - Bhargav
A good linkedin profile starts with having information on key impact you have created — be it in your internship, in your student clubs or maybe even in your own entrepreneurial venture. Secondly, its important to stay active on the platform — by posting content, sharing articles as well as participating/commenting on posts by others. Finally, use it as a way to keep in touch with companies that you care for — engage with their content, and connect with key individuals in those companies.
Linkedin, and in some cases Instagram, YouTube, and Behance can be profiles that companies look at while evaluating candidates. It is fine to post what you want to post and showcase your opinions and viewpoints. Posting ideas and new ways of approaching certain things can surely be a a plus as well.
