What is the difference between a four-year BS and a three-year BSc degree? How is it different in terms of job prospects? - Pranay

The four-year BS provides the opportunities to study specialised electives and also credits an eight-month full-time apprenticeship with companies and research labs. In addition to gaining real-world industry experience while pursuing the degree, it also increases the chances of securing a pre-placement offer. The students who complete the four-year BS can also appear for GATE and pursue an MTech in India or apply for postgraduate degrees abroad.
