Nigerian novelist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie spoke to the graduating class of 2015 at Wellesley College in Massachusetts. Adichie, who is known for her feminist views, gave some interesting insights to the gradutes at Wellesley, known as one of the top women’s liberal arts colleges in the US.
Adichie’s speech was reflective of her personal experiences and her points of view regarding being a woman in today’s world. A notable moment was when she told the audience “the only acceptable way of wasting your time is online shopping”.
