When Amazon launched its website in India in 2013, it was received with suspicion. Retailers and customers alike weren’t sure of it, and the Government trusted it even less, apparent in its FDI policy. But the company didn’t take long to overcome the challenges, including reaching out to parts of the country that didn’t have easy access to the Internet.
