How entrepreneurs can keep their passion from fading

Two behavioural strategies found to restore passion in entrepreneurs

It is known that entrepreneurs are driven by passion towards achieving entrepreneurial success. Steve Jobs, founder of Apple Inc famously said, “The ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.” Academic research has affirmed that accompanying and fuelling this fire of passion is excitement. Excitement allows these entrepreneurs to see an opportunity in every nook and corner they set their sights on. Virgin Group founder Richard Branson once defined an entrepreneur as “an innovator, a job creator, a game-changer, a business leader, a disruptor, an adventurer”.

Peculiarly enough, research illustrates how passion tends to eventually fade out among early-stage entrepreneurs.
