India: the place to be for start-ups in 2016

India also to become world’s second largest Internet market

If you are an Indian student or working professional thinking of launching a start-up of your own, home base is the best option for you. According to a list by TechCrunch of the 13 Asian start-ups to watch in 2016, six are from India!

The list includes familiar names like restaurant aggregator Zomato, hotel chain OYO Rooms, and can and transport service Ola. It also includes companies like One97 Communications (best known for mobile payments app Paytm), health technology outfit Practo, and logistics company Delhivery.
