Managing people doesn’t have to be so bad

For reasons that are their own, not everyone strives to be a manager. Many shy away from leadership roles because of the responsibilities that come with the job. While there are drawbacks to being a manager, it doesn’t have to be that bad, says Jason Fell, Director of the Entrepreneur Partner Studio in an article in Entrepreneur .

It’s easy to get caught up in the notion that it’s your job to supervise how everyone on your team works and when. Managing doesn’t have to be such a hardship, so long as you have the right perspective, he writes. When you realise you aren’t a babysitter, everything turns clearer.
