It’s important to brace oneself for unexpected change

The structure of a workspace has changed drastically over the years. It no longer depends on the various chains of command, but is often self-driven. And in particular, after the start-up boom, there have been newer ways of running organisations.

Ethan Bernstein, Niko Canner and Charlotte Dobbs, in an article in the Harvard Business Review , say that self-managed organisations are leading the charge. Experimenting with structure roles, relationships, responsibilities, and decision making processes is no longer sacred, which helps a person absorb more and faster.
