These days, more and more corporates are paying attention to the emotional growth and stability of their employees. According to the newly released Empathy Index, some companies like Facebook, Google and LinkedIn go out of their way to understand their employees’ emotional standing, while others like Bharat Petroleum top the list of least empathetic companies with a score of zero.
Many other Indian companies have been termed as not being empathetic towards their workers including Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, Bharti Airtel, State Bank of India and Indian Oil. To read more, check out this article in Harvard Business Review .
