In an increasingly technology-dependent world, our nightmares aren’t about monsters under our beds or the end of the world. It’s much simpler — we dread losing our smart devices; so much so that scrolling through notifications is the first thing we do everyone morning, and not finding the device next to us is nothing short of a nightmare.

But what are the consequences of being so dependent on tweets and messenger pop-ups? We lose focus. In an article in the Harvard Business Review , William Treseder, a founding partner at a problem-solving consultancy, says that it’s important for a person and their business to stay organised and be mindful of their actions if they want to be efficient.
