In September, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg finally admitted that fake news could have played a big role in the 2016 US presidential election. In fact, these days, fake news can make or break governments, companies, families and friendships!
According to this article in Chicago Booth Review , "further studies might look into trade-offs between promoting truth and promoting engagement in a dystopic scenario: where no one — neither networks nor users — knows what news is fake and what is real."
