A treat for classical music and dance lovers at IIM Bangalore

Yamini 2018 features artistes such as TM Krishna and Kadri Gopalnath

IIM Bangalore is set soak in the finest of classical music and dance from 7 pm on January 25 to 7 am on January 26. The SPICMACAY chapter introduces ‘Yamini 2018’, paving way for the 68th Republic Day.

For the last 14 years, staff and students of IIM-B, in association with SPICMACAY, have hosted an assorted audience from all over the city who witness back-to-back performances of Indian classical artistes at the IIM-B campus.

This year, the event features legends such as Padma Bhushan Awardee Prabha Atre (Hindustani vocal), Padma Shri Awardee Kadri Gopalnath (saxophone), Padma Shri Awardee A Kanyakumari (violin), Ramon Magsaysay Awardee TM Krishna (Carnatic vocal), one of the foremost proponents of kathakali and Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee Kottakkal Chandrashekaran, and Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee Nayan Ghosh (sitar).
