ACCA and BIMTECH co-create MBA in accounting

The course offers cross-sector knowledge in finance and accounting catering to the industry demands

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) announced the launch of PGPX- Professional Accountancy programme, where students will be taught key skills, such as, business model planning, strategic thinking, decision making and digital ecosystem and its applications, which are the need of the hour to be future-ready professionals.

Commencing in September 2020, the PGPM-International Accountancy Programme is a 13-month programme that BIMTECH is inviting applications for currently. This programme can be opted by a CA candidate or a ACCA student who has completed nine ACCA papers. The integrated programme is for 15 months, commencing in October 2020. Both of the programmes are recognised by AICTE.

Commenting on the collaboration, Sajid Khan, Head of International Development, ACCA said, “The ACCA qualification is forward-thinking and delivers the cross-sector accounting and finance knowledge, skills and professional and ethical values, needed in all organisations and every industry.
