Anna University partners with BL on Campus to host Enantra 2.0

The fest is scheduled to take place from February 8-11

With rapid development in various sectors, the primary aim of education institutes needs to be the empowerment of the youth and their involvement in boosting the nation’s economy. When the student entrepreneurship club of Anna University set out to find a solution to instigating this, they came up with the idea for 'Enantra'.

Enantra, in partnership with BL on Campus , aims to empower a community of young, global, innovative change-makers to an impact-driven initiative designed to celebrate invention and innovation. To be held at the premises of Anna University and supported by the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development-Anna University (CED-AU), Enantra is one of the biggest student-driven entrepreneurship fests in South India.

The fest is scheduled to take place from February 8-11. It comprises six mega events, 10 mini events, four workshops, and motivating talks by pioneering speakers. Trademark events include 'The Start-Up Pitchfest', which will provide an opportunity for student entrepreneurs to scale-up their start-up idea into a prospective business venture.

The '6 Degree Talks', a professional interactive talk session which will feature several ranked entrepreneurs, will feature Minister for Tamil Official Language and Tamil Culture (Government of Tamil Nadu) Mafoi K Pandiarajan. Other speakers are Vijay Kapoor, Founder, Derby Jeans; and RJ Vijay and RJ Shah of Radio Mirchi.

Other events include 'TechStars Startup Weekend', a 54-hour programme from Friday night to Sunday morning that aims to bring together experts from all domains to help build a start-up. 'Start-up Street' will see various investors, policymakers and budding entrepreneurs providing prospective internships and jobs to freshers and graduates.

'Entre-tainment' is a high-profile dinner set-up that provides a complacent atmosphere wherein top business personnel, entrepreneurs and elite investors can interact.
