The inauguration of the 13th batch of the Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives (PGPMX) was held virtually on July 25. The session was attended by 23 participants online, along with Prof Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore; Prof Ashish Sadh, Chair, PGPMX; Prof Ranjeet Nambudiri, Dean, Academics; Prof Prashant Salwan, Chair, Executive Education; Prof LV Ramana, Faculty, IIM Indore and Col. Prof Rai noted that this pandemic has given us new opportunities and one must utilise this time to the fullest. “This is the time for creating vision for ourselves. Look into your own lives, see where it is headed and figure out the purpose of your life,” he said.

He said that PGPMX is a kind of programme which is the need of the hour and aims at contributing to the nation and world as a whole.

“The amount of learning you will have in the classrooms is important, but the learning you will have while interacting with your peers, who are from different backgrounds, will be beneficial,” he told the participants. He concluded by advising the new batch to introspect as to how to deal with everything around them and consider this time as an opportunity to rediscover oneself.

The new batch was briefed about the programme and library resources to be accessed online.
