European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), one of the top international accreditation body, has awarded Business School Impact System (BSIS) label to Birla Institute for Management Technology (BIMTECH), Greater Noida. BSIS is the comprehensive impact assessment tool for business schools that helps to demonstrate their impact on its local environment — city or region. This is the first time a B-school in India has completed this assessment.
Dr Eric Cornuel, Director General and CEO, and Dr Michel Kalika, Senior Advisor, EFMD, presented BSIS award to Dr H Chaturvedi, Director, BIMTECH, and Dr A K Dey, Chairman, Centre for Management Case Development, BIMTECH, at EFMD Annual convention in Lisbon.
Covers all dimensions
At the heart of BSIS is a framework of 120 indicators covering seven dimensions including financial, economic, societal and image dimensions of impact.
EFMD is an international not-for-profit association, based in Brussels, Belgium. EFMD operates the EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), which is one of the leading international systems of quality assessment, improvement, and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration.
