BITSoM announced its inaugural Ideas Festival for January 2022. The festival aims to be a strategic platform for business leaders, academicians and entrepreneurs to discuss, reflect and re-imagine the future. Some of the speakers in its inaugural edition include Naushad Forbes, Co-Chairman, Forbes Marshall; Viswanathan Anand, five-time World Chess Champion; Geoffrey Garrett, Dean, USC Marshall School of Business; Leena Chatterjee, Professor of Organisational Behaviour at BITSoM; Deep Kalra, Chairman, Make My Trip; and Shankar Mahadevan, singer, composer and founder, Shankar Mahadevan Academy. Other speakers at the festival will include authors, business leaders, and academicians from BITSoM and the London Business School.
Conceived in partnership with Founding Fuel, a new age media and learning company, it will span four weekends in January with a distinctive, interactive, and immersive experience — with networking lounges, student booths, and opportunities for asynchronous engagement. Dr Ranjan Banerjee, Dean, BITSoM said, “BITSoM aims to be a focal point for new age ideas, learning, and leadership.
