Deakin University, ISB team up for research, teaching

MoU signed for an initial period of three years

Australia’s Deakin University and the Indian School of Business have signed a memorandum of association (MoU) for collaboration in the areas of research, teaching, student exchange programmes, among others.

Michael Ewing, Dean of Deakin Business School, Deakin University and Sridhar Seshadri, Senior Associate Dean, Faulty and Research, ISB signed the MoU.

The MoU has been signed for an initial period of three years starting 21st October 2015. As a part of the agreement, both partners would endeavour to conduct joint research, teaching and engagement in areas of common interest, including the provision of opportunities for further internationalising the curricula of business programs offered by ISB and Deakin Business School (DBS).

“This is an innovative approach to enable authentic cross-cultural interaction for geographically dispersed students. We will continue to innovate, push boundaries and look for synergies in the partnership,’’ Ewing, said in a release.

Seshadri said: We are happy to collaborate with Deakin University, as this is a great opportunity for us to expand the frontiers of research globally with a like minded partner.’’
