Dr C Joe Arun is LIBA’s new Director

An MBA from IIBM and University of Madras, he has a Ph.D from University of Oxford

Dr C Joe Arun has taken charge as the new Director of Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) from May.

In his 18 years of experience in academia and industry, Dr Arun has done extensive research in the areas of consumer behaviour, cross-cultural management, conflict and identity construction. He has published books and scientific papers in areas such personal growth, globalisation, leadership and strategy. He holds an MBA from IIBM and Madras University, and a Ph.D from the University of Oxford.

‘Contribute to change-making process’

Prior to joining LIBA, Dr Joe Arun was the Director of St Joseph’s Institute of Management (JIM), Tiruchi, where he was instrumental in elevating the institute to one of the top B-schools in the country. He also served as the Director of Goa Institute of Management (GIM), Secretary and Correspondent of Loyola College, Deputy Director of LICET and Director of Xavier Institute of Business Administration (XIBA), Palayamkottai.

Dr Joe Arun said, “This position is a responsibility and a mission given by my Society to prepare the next generation of innovative, globally-engaged business leaders who are responsible and live a life based on values. The aim is also to promote excellence in research in management studies. It is a time of rapid change in every field, driven by advances in technology.
