FORE launches programme on healthcare analytics

The seven-month programme focuses on machine learning and artificial intelligence

The FORE School of Management has announced the launch of online certificate programme on healthcare analytics, which commences from April 2021. It is a completely hands-on, interactive online programme on machine learning and artificial intelligence. The last date of registration for the course is April 25. The programme is divided into five modules and the duration is seven months. It will include workshops and regular classes.

The programme directors Prof Ashok Kumar Harnal and Prof Vinaytosh Mishra said, “This programme is extremely beneficial for a multitude of professions. It includes data scientists or researchers in the pharmaceutical industry, doctors, academicians or healthcare professionals. It would be useful for bio-technologists, bio-informatics students, and students enrolled in BPharma as well. Students enrolled in MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS and life-sciences-biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, bio-informatics, cell biology (cytology), ecology, molecular biology, microbiology, and marine sciences. Besides, consultants, senior managers, business heads, CXOs alongside management and engineering professionals, who wish to take up health analytics as a profession must enrol in this programme.”

The course will focus on introducing machine learning, data visualisation, and handling imbalanced data. Under deep learning technologies, the course will introduce neural networks, deep learning with convolution neural networks, recurrent neural networks, natural language processing, experimenting with the tensor board, and many more.

The capstone project in the module five comprises of pure analytics. In this module, students will execute the project assigned to them stepwise. Students may execute the project either alone or in small teams with a team leader. Students will also be free to take up a project from their organisation. The capstone project begins early, while deep learning classes are in progress and runs parallely. Further, information can be obtained from exed@fsm.ac.in.
