IFIM ranked among 51 best globally for PGDM Finance programme

Only Indian institute to be part of QS Global Masters in Marketing & Masters in Finance Rankings 2021

IFIM Business School, one of the first six business schools in India to be accredited by AACSB, has broken into the 51+ band globally in the QS Masters in Marketing Ranking for its PGDM Marketing Programme. The B-School has also made it into the 101+ band globally in the QS Masters in Finance Rankings for its PGDM Finance Programme.

Congratulating the faculty of IFIM Business School, Sanjay Padode, Chairman of the Governing Board, said, “This is the best news for a private business school in its Silver Jubilee year. The faculty of IFIM Business School has always dreamt big and I am proud that their efforts are elevating the stature of Indian management education globally.”

He added that, “IFIM has made India proud by securing a mark in the QS Rankings which was facilitated by various metrics incorporated at the institute by experimenting, implementing and growing. Perhaps, the most important factor that made it possible was the alignment with industry, globally recognised faculty and impeccable placement records, which helped the IFIM Business School make its mark on the prestigious QS World Rankings.”

The criteria for this ranking involves faculty, students, employer reputation and international faculty.

Future-ready, globally relevant

Hailing the results, Dr. Atish Chattopadhyay, Director, IFIM Business School, said “Post AACSB Accreditation in 2018, IFIM Business School took a break from Indian rankings and restructured itself for the Global Rankings. The results of the rankings by QS is testimony to IFIM Business School being future-ready, globally relevant and at par with top global B-Schools in grooming Marketing and Finance professionals aligned to Industry 4.0.”

He added: “The Business School had a greater responsibility after securing the AACSB accreditation and had worked on improving curriculum, design thinking, innovation and a platform to connect industry and academia to align with its motto of ‘Beyond Tomorrow.”

Other schools in top 100

Prestigious global business schools such as HEC Montreal, Rennes School of Business, College of Business at University of Texas at Arlington, and Naveen Jindal School of Management, University of Texas at Dallas, join IFIM Business School in the 51+ Band of the Masters in Marketing Rankings.

In the Masters in Finance rankings, prestigious global business schools such as J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University, Newcastle Business School, Rennes School of Business, College of Business at University of Texas at Arlington and LUISS Business School join IFIM Business School in the 101+ Band.
