IIM-A adds GRE scores to CAT and GMAT for ePGP

The ePGP marks IIM’s foray into long-term hybrid management courses

The Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad said it has added GRE scores to the existing CAT and GMAT scores as it will now be an added criteria for admission into the e-Mode Post Graduate Programme from 2019-21 batch onwards.

From the 2019-21 batch, IIM-A will accept valid GRE scores of the last five years, apart from the GMAT and CAT scores. Candidates who have missed the CAT 2018 deadline can also appear in GMAT/GRE until March 31, 2019 in order to be eligible for 2019-21 batch application.

The e-PGP is IIM’s first long-term hybrid management education course that awards a PG Diploma. This hybrid learning programme offers online lessons, that will be attended through study centres, and classroom teaching at the IIM-A campus at regular intervals, along with mentored project work, said a press statement.

The two-year comprehensive course is designed for working executives and entrepreneurs, aiming to enhance strategic thinking and impart entrepreneurial and leadership abilities. It also aims to help candidates develop the required skills to take organisations to the next level, besides advancing their individual career aspirations.

The curriculum has been designed by IIM-A’s faculty members, with the help of their diverse experience in research, consulting and advisory, and teaching experience.

The shortlisted candidates applying for this academic year will be invited for personal interviews at the IIM-A campus or other cities decided by the institute.

The process for admissions into the ePGP 2019-21 batch has already begun and the last date for applications is May 31, 2019. The first campus module for the new batch is slated to start from September 23, 2019.
