Indian Institute of Management Amritsar is all set to conduct the fourth edition of its Annual Operations and Strategy Conclave, Sankshetra, on November 9. As part of the meet, there will be two panel discussions focusing on Operations & Strategy.
The theme for the Operations panel discussion is ‘Managing the unexpected: Building resilient supply chains amidst disruptions and complexities’. The discussion will also look at various supply chain complexities that may arise due to internal or external forces, and will finally explore strategies to reduce the impact of unexpected disruptions to create a resilient supply chain.
The theme for the Strategy panel discussion is ‘Dynamically Sustainable Approach in Creating Competitive Advantage’. This panel will share relevant experiences and discuss how to create an adaptable, sustainable solution that will provide a competitive edge in an ever-changing market. The discussion will focus on the scope of dynamic sustainable growth models to achieve a competitive advantage. The panel will scrutinise the issue and analyse it from various perspectives to understand the viability of a sustainable approach in the current market.
The Operations panel will comprise Vikas Bhaskar (Head-Solutions Design, Program Management and Business Excellence, Stellar Value Chain Solutions), Dr. Rakesh Sinha (Global Head-Supply Chain, Manufacturing & IT, Godrej Consumer Products), Salil Kapoor (Mentor-Supply Chain Labs & Former COO & EVP-UPBG, Voltas), Joydeep Sarkar (Chief Operating Officer, Hicare Services) Shailen Shukla (Head Logistics, Jumbo Electronics) Ramnath Sadasivan (SVP & Head–Distribution & Logistics, Reliance Retail).
