IIM-B, Gabelli School of Business launch fintech programme

The 15-day executive education programme has a five-day module in New York

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore has announced an executive education programme in ‘Digital disruptions and emerging technologies in financial services’, along with the Gabelli School of Business, Fordham University, in New York.

The 15-day programme has a five-day module at NYC with the rest of the course being delivered at IIM-B. As a hub of innovation in fintech, NYC offers an opportunity for programme participants to interact with some leading startups in the space.

Prof Pulak Ghosh from IIM Bangalore and Prof Sudip Gupta from Gabelli School of Business will lead the programme through its design and delivery phases.

Madan Mohan Raj, Chief Programme Officer, executive education programmes at IIM-B, said: “The programme, with its accent on conceptual building blocks and immersive learning experience through field trips and projects, will fill the long-felt need for a quality programme in the Fintech space in India.”

The programme has adopted a pedagogical style that requires the participants to work on a digital disruption project relevant to his/her field guided by a faculty mentor.

A seminar, a panel discussion with leading industry experts, and project presentations will be part of the concluding module of the programme.
