Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B) launched its first transborder executive education programme in Dubai. The General Management Programme (GMPx) for senior professionals provides them with the skills, knowledge and global perspectives required in today’s business world. The first module will start from November 29.
The GMPx has been designed by professors PD Jose, Vasanthi Srinivasan and G Shainesh.
Madan Mohan Raj, chief programme officer, executive education programmes at IIM-B, said: “Experienced executives who aspire to develop strategic and general management perspectives on a global canvas will benefit the most out of this programme”.
This eight-month programme, combines sessions across 24-classroom days and virtual sessions via massive open online courses (MOOCs). The session will be spread over five modules in Dubai and Bangalore.
IIM-B offers a range of long duration and certificate programmes for managers and business leaders. These include Executive General Management Programme (EGMP), Advanced Management Programme (AMP), and general management programmes in IT, aerospace and aviation, and the healthcare sector..
