IIM Indore ties up with a Milan B-school

Deal with Politecnico di Milano School of Business covers joint programmes, student and faculty exchange

With the objective of strengthening foreign collaborations and contributing globally in research and education, IIM Indore signed a MoU with MIP Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business, Italy on November 8. This is the second collaboration with an institution in Italy, SDA Bocconi being the first.

 

 

Prof Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore, and Professor Andrea Sianesi, Dean and President of the Board of Directors of MIP Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business, Milan, Italy, sealed a partnership which covers exchange of students and faculty members along with development of joint programmes.

“With the mission to develop socially conscious managers, leaders and entrepreneurs, IIM Indore aims to provide global exposure to the students and faculty members — who are able to expand their views and thought processes, adapt to the global scenario and enhance their knowledge and skills to remain updated and relevant. We currently have 35+ collaborations with 16 nations, namely, Greece, New Zealand, US, Italy, Mexico, France, Germany, Belgium, the Philippines, Brazil, Austria, Sweden, Taiwan, Latvia, Finland and Nepal. We aim to further expand our global collaborations and contribute significantly to research and education,” said Prof Rai.

IIM Indore currently has a Student Exchange Programme for both Post-Graduate and Undergraduate participants of the Institute. In the academic year 2019-20, around 200+ participants went for exchange programmes to various countries. Every year, approximately 50-60 foreign students are a part of the IIM Indore exchange programme.
