Dr Bhimaraya Metri, Director, IIM Tiruchirappalli, received ‘Top Rankers Excellence Award for Outstanding Academic leadership’ by the Top Rankers Management Club during the 21st National Management Summit titled, “Towards sustainable competitive edge; Modern Mantras,” held in New Delhi recently.
The Top Rankers Management Club, functioning under the aegis of Top Rankers Management Consultants organises the annual National Management Summit to identify, recognise and award talented leaders and professionals in diverse management disciplines.
100 research articles
This award recognised Dr Metri’s contribution and exceptional service in the field of education, where he has published over 100 research articles and co-authored six books, the institute said. He has trained more than 600 deans, directors, principals, and HODs of technical institutions. Dr Metri has served as a member of various national and international committees and has been a member of the editorial board of national and international journals.
