Premiere management institute, the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) has retained its position in the top 20 programmes globally. In the latest Financial Times (FT) Masters in Management Rankings 2015, the institute is placed at 15th position, one level up from its last year's position of 16th in the global ranking.
IIM-A was ranked number one worldwide on placement-related criteria, such as salary, employed at three months, and company internships.
It was one of the top ranked institutions in related criteria, such as careers and placement success. The Institute also topped in the faculty with doctorates category as 100 per cent of IIM-A faculty meeting that criteria, revealed the rankings released today.
“Rankings are useful for bench-marking how we are doing compared to peer institutions,” noted IIMA director, Ashish Nanda.
