Earlier, a large pool of 40 firms participated online in Cluster 2, where Amazon made the maximum ― 14 ― offers from the retail B2B and B2C cohort, followed by Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) at 13 offers.

The Summer Placements had begun on December 1 with 50 recruiters, including top global players, participating in the first cluster. Bain & Company made the most number of offers at 20, followed by The Boston Consulting Group with 19 offers.

IIM Ahmedabad follows a cluster-cohort-based placement process wherein companies offering similar profiles are grouped into cohorts, and several cohorts are invited to the campus in a particular cluster. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the entire placement process was held virtually this year.
