IIM Ranchi is delivering executive education in business analytics through Management Development Programmes (MDP) which include executive programme in business analytics and business intelligence and certificate programme in business analytics and business intelligence.
MBA in business analytics is a two-year full-time residential programme that will help students to acquire in-depth and practical knowledge in analytics and its application in practice. "After the completion of the programme, the students would have imbibed the skills to understand data and extract insight from the data to provide viable solutions to business problems," says a press release from the B-school.
The programme has been designed to provide in-depth knowledge and expertise in various analytics tools and techniques relevant to the needs of modern-day organisations. The curriculum covers data science, statistical modelling, data mining techniques, big data, visualisation, machine learning, analytics with unstructured data, natural language processing, and social media analytics.
The programme will include hands-on experience in R, Python, SPSS Modeller, and visualisation tools, like COGNOS and relevant technologies such as Gephi, Node X1, Pajek, Mongo DB, and others.
