IMT Ghaziabad records 95% placement mark

The highest package offered in the executive programme batch is ₹19 lakh

Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Ghaziabad has successfully placed about 95 per cent students from its PGDM (Executive) batch of 2014-15. While the average salary was ₹10.9 lakh, the highest package offered was ₹19 lakh.

Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Idea Cellular, Accenture, Snapdeal, Honda and Videocon were among the top recruiters for the batch. Students received offers from sectors such as manufacturing, consulting, IT, Banking, Financial services and Insurance (BFSI), healthcare, retail, and digital marketing.

Marketing preferred domain

Marketing emerged as the most preferred domain for students, with most companies offering profiles of brand manager, marketing manager, deputy regional manager, sales manager, project manager, research analyst, IT consultant, and product manager, to students.

Thinking about the current batch of the executive programme, the institute has already started pre-placement talk with companies like Infosys, Syscom, and Honda Cars and is associating with organisations. Companies expected to visit the IMT campus for placements include Infosys, Ramco, D&B, Steria, Kotak, Lanco and Trident Group.

Exchange programmes

IMT also has student exchange programmes with reputed B-schools worldwide for its PGDM (executive) batch. It has collaborated with more than 82 universities across the globe and plans to introduce an ‘International Immersion Programme’, including an online foundation course, with Harvard.
