Institute of Information Technology and Management hosts conference on ICT

Two-day conference hosted by the Institute of Information Technology and Management, Janakpuri , Delhi.

Close to 105 full-length research papers from all across the world were presented at the two-day international conference organised by the Institute of Information Technology and Management (IITM), Janakpuri, affiliated with GGSIP University, New Delhi. The conference discussed the role of ICT in management and business, and different practices, trends, and prospects.  

The conference created a lot of excitement in the research fraternity and provided an international forum to interact and deliberate to promote high-quality research in the field of ICT, a release from the institute, said.  

Focus on research

Prof KK Aggarwal, Founder VC-GGSIPU, Chairman of NBA; JC Sharma, Chairman-IITM, Shiva Sharma, Executive Director- IITM; Seema Sharma, Member of Governing Body; Prof Prerna Mahajan (Director, IITM); and Prof Sudhir Kumar Sharma, General Chair; and Gopal Singh Latwal, Organising Chair; along with other dignitaries inaugurated the conference by lighting the lamp and releasing the conference souvenir.  

The contribution of luminaries from diverse fields added a fresh dimension to the study of ICT. The keynote speakers of the conference - Prof AK Saini, GGSIP University, New Delhi; PS Grover, Former Director, University of Delhi; Prof Bhuvan Unhelkar, University of South Florida, US; Keith Sherringham, Director, Australia Computer Society – Australia; Arpan Kumar Kar, IIT Delhi; Prof Amit Prakash Singh, USICT, GGSIP University- New Delhi; Prof Parvinder Singh DCRUST, Murthal; Bharat Bhushan, Sharda University, Greater Noida – UP; Prof Vikas Kumar Director of Research, University of West UK; Prof Marcin Paprzycki, Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland; and Prof Kanata Prasad Singh, Chandigarh University, Punjab; elucidated their astute perspective on the various spheres of the conference theme.  

The conference was supported by Apple Academic Press (AAP), Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), ICT Academy, GGSIP University, Computer Society of India (CSI) and Warsaw Management University (WSM)
