Jaipuria Institute conducts summit on talent management

The event received overwhelming participation of more than 500 people including students

The fifth Corporate Summit on Talent Management was organised by Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad, on February 3 at Hotel Radisson Blu, Ghaziabad. The summit was inaugurated by P Dwarakanath, Director – Group Human Capital, Max India Ltd, who was the chief guest.

The event received an overwhelming participation of over 500 people including students. Topics such as new role of artificial intelligence in human resource, knowledge management, and adaptive organisational learning were discussed and addressed by the panel members during the discussions.

Shishir Jaipuria, Chairman, Jaipuria Group of Institutions, said, “The Finance Minister, in the Budget, has stated the government wants to create jobs in India. We are moulding our students to fit in that space and grow in future. The main aim of conducting such summits is to help understand the views and success stories of eminent people in the industries and motivate students to learn from them and aspire to higher things.”

Panelists from different domains highlighted the success mantra for managing talent and stressed how it is important to be different from others. They also focused on grooming talent and creative thinking in the industry. Neeraj Narang, Director, HCM, Product Strategy, Oracle India, addressed the participants on knowledge mapping techniques.

The second panel discussion was about creating the right environment for developing good habits and willingness to acquire knowledge, with a focus on a high-performing organisational approach and creating a high-performance culture at work.

The third panel discussion dealt with understanding the fundamentals and implementing a strategy of employee engagement and interaction. Rajnesh Khosla, Head, HR, LG Software India, addressed the students. Other speakers included Seema Singh, GM, Sales and Marketing, New Holland Fiat India; Rohit Saraf, Deputy VP, HR, Ratnakar Bank Ltd; Prashant Sharma, Head Talent Management, UFLEX Ltd; and Kiran Bhatia Tandon, Head, Talent Management, Stryker.

Prof Daviender Narang, Director, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad, and Ashwani Kumar Varshney, Dean, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad, organised the event along with professors of the institute.
