MDI Gurgaon kicks-off new batch of doctoral students

The number of students in the 2015 batch includes 21 doctoral students

“Imagination and ideation are the core spirit of research. A research cycle starts with an idea – without which you won’t be able to define a problem,” said Sanjay Govind Dhande, Member, Board of Governors, MDI Gurgaon in the induction programme for the doctoral students at MDI. Dhande was the chief guest at the induction ceremony for its Doctoral Programmes: Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) and Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM).

The number of students in the 2015 batch includes 21 doctoral students. The programmes (FPM/EFPM) are aimed at allowing the fellow researchers to create benchmarks and measure progress in order to be able to gauge the performance of any business.

The event was a stimulating affair for the students as they got a glimpse of what lies ahead for them in their life at MDI and their career graph thereafter.

C.P. Shrimali, Director of MDI advised the students not to limit themselves in the four walls of the classrooms. He encouraged the students to participate in debates, discussions, conferences and seminars for a 360 degree development.
