MICA initiates new batch with balanced gender ratio

MICA Ahmedabad’s new batch comprises 51 per cent women across three programmes —PGDM-C and PGDM, Crafting Creative Communications (CCC), and Fellow Programme in Management (FPM). Of the 244 students in the 2022-23 batch, 124 are women.

Shailendra Raj Mehta, President and Director MICA, said, “Our new batch of students strengthened the now widely-acknowledged fact of MICA being among the most gender-diverse B-schools in the country with a gender ratio of 50:50 at most times.” He went on to say this was because MICA’s entrance test, MICAT, tests analytical and creative skills, as a result of which, students stand out without any preference being granted to them.”
