National University of Singapore team wins TAPMI’s Quiz on Beach

Team from College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneshwar were runners-up

The team from National University of Singapore (NUS) — Shivam Bharadwaj and Mudit — has won the finale of the 15th edition of the Quiz on the Beach (QoTB) of the Manipal-based TA Pai Management Institute (TAPMI). The team was awarded a cash prize of ₹6 lakh at the event conducted on Malpe beach in Udupi district on Sunday evening.

The team of Sailesh and Sohan from the Bhubaneshwar-based College of Engineering and Technology was the first runners-up and won ₹3 lakh.

Abhijeet and Akshath from IIM Lucknow were declared the second runners-up. The team was awarded prize money of ₹1 lakh.

Teams from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, NUS Singapore, CET Bhubaneshwar, PES University, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, and National Institute of Technology Goa entered the grand finale. Giri Subramaniam, of the TATA Crucible fame, was the quiz master.

Initiated in 2003, Quiz on the Beach has grown exponentially over the years. Around 3000 teams competed in the qualifier rounds of the 15th edition.
