NMAT registration begins today

GMAC has launched 20 new domestic and four international test centres

In its endeavour to connect talent with career opportunities, Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) today announced the commencement of registrations for NMAT. In its third year, the registration is open from July 4 to October 14.

This year the registration process has further been made candidate-friendly with new features like ‘multiple login methods’ and ‘additional payment options’. Aspirants can register on www.nmat.org.in to undertake the test.

New features

To further widen its reach, NMAT has been made available in Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. And 20 new test centres have been launched in India.

GMAC has also introduced multiple login options for candidates. And considering the increased adoption of social media tools, candidates will be able to register for NMAT through Google or Facebook. The candidates will be able to use auto-generated One Time Passwords or last year’s credentials to login and register for the exam.

Candidates can also now pay through international credit cards and UPI among other methods. Qualifying students can avail customised loan offers from HDFC Credila for their management studies.

The students will have to appear for three sections: Language skills, quantitative skills and logical reasoning. All the sections are individually timed with total time of 120 minutes. Candidates can write the exam from 55 conveniently-located test centres in 35 cities in India.

Aspirants can appear three times for NMAT in a year’s testing period and can reschedule their exam by visiting the official website. The exam allows a candidate to choose the order in which he/she would like to respond to each of the sections on the test and self-schedule the test date, time and location based on the availability of seats at each test centre. Aspirants can also register for the exam through their mobile.
