In order to create skilled workforce for the industries and employers, Ganpat University in North Gujarat has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NSDC International Ltd, a subsidiary of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.

The objective of the MoU is to conceptualise, design and run certificate programs that are aligned to the market requirements and meet the expectations of the current employment sector.

Under the MoU, NSDC International and Ganpat University will work together to carry out joint activities and enable processes for trainers and assessment.

The collaboration will encourage and support entrepreneurship through Ganpat University's EILM-powered program focusing on innovation, entrepreneurship, and venture development.

Additionally, the partnership will facilitate curation and delivery of Training of Trainers (ToT) programs in selected focus areas.

In the specific skill areas, Ganpat University will prepare and launch jointly-offered skill-embedded academic certificates, diplomas, degrees programmes.

The MoU signing ceremony was held on Thursday in virtual presence of Padma Shri awardee Ganpat Patel, President and patron-in-chief of Ganpat University and Ved Mani Tiwari, Chief Operating Officer and Officiating CEO, NSDC, and other officials and administrators from NSDC and the University.

NSDC International is a subsidiary company of NSDC that is enabling Skill India International objectives to make India a global source for quality talent, provide global job opportunities for resident Indians, provide global career mobility for overseas Indians, and create an internationally benchmarked quality skills ecosystem.
