The Students' Union of Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) is launching the 13th edition of its annual management fest, Business Conclave 2021, on April 3 and 4 on the theme, ‘Unmuting Ideas, Unravelling Possibilities.’ Presented by the University of Warwick, co-sponsored by Nescafé, powered by Real11 and associated with BSE, Business Conclave will be held virtually due to the pandemic. The team is all set to host some internationally acclaimed speakers as well. The highlights of the Business Conclave 2021 are informative speaker sessions, first-ever Masterclasses, and competitive events that will test participants’ knowledge and thinking abilities.
The 13th edition will host speakers from all walks of life. Prakash Javadekar, Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change; NR Narayana Murthy, Co-Founder, Infosys; Naveen Jindal, Chairman of Jindal Steel and Power Ltd; spiritual guide and mentor BK Sister Shivani; Kanwal Rekhi, first Indian-American founder and CEO to take the venture-backed company public on the NASDAQ; Sanjiv Mehta, Chairman and MD, HUL; Justice N V Ramana; Kunal Shah, Founder of Cred; and Kiran Bedi, former IPS officer; are some of the personalities who will be delivering talks on a multitude of topics in the event.
There will also be a special session called ‘Unwind’ featuring some top artists. Comedian Zakir Khan and Rahul Subramanium will leave the audiences in splits with stand-up comedy sessions, while Anuv Jain, India’s fastest rising pop artist would mesmerise the attendees in an hour-long live concert.
In addition to this, for the first time, the event will witness international representation from the governments of the US, Mexico, and New Zealand. The attendees would also get a chance to be inspired by the CEOs of some of the Indian Unicorns like Lenskart, Unacademy, Dream11, Ola Cabs and many more in an engaging panel discussion organised in partnership with FICCI.
Expert sessions
The Conclave presents to all attendees an opportunity to delve deeper into fields of their interests with engaging masterclasses by personalities like CA Rachana Ranade on Gambler's Fallacy in Stock Market and by Dhruv Sehgal, lead actor and writer, Little Things, Netflix on Storytelling and Creative Writing.
Presented by RMIT University, the event would also host its annual University Fair on a virtual platform with university admission representatives from top global universities like University of Warwick, Durham University and many more.
Apart from speaker sessions and masterclasses, the fest also brings various challenging, enthralling and thought-provoking events that are sure to leave the participants fascinated and enlightened at the same time.
