SP Jain, Illinois Tech offer marketing analytics course

The STEM-certified course, partly offered in Chicago, may help get three-year OPT rights in the US.

SP Jain School of Global Management has partnered with Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), for its one-year STEM-designated master’s in marketing analytics.

The one-year programme commences in January 2022. Students must complete three courses (9 credits) from SP Jain, taught online by SP Jain faculty, and the rest of the programme (24 credits) through face-to-face classes at IIT Chicago, taught by faculty from the Stuart School of Business, IIT’s B-school.

The programme will develop students’ knowledge and skills in three key areas— business, analytical methods, and technology. On graduation, students will receive a globally recognised master’s degree from the Stuart School of Business, IIT Chicago, and a certificate of completion from SP Jain.

Key benefits

The programme may also result in a three-year Optional Practice Training (OPT) rights in the US (upon application to the relevant authorities), and other benefits such as internships, IBM Digital Badges in subjects such as AI and IoT, and mentoring assistance from the career management center at IIT Chicago.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with IIT Chicago, one of the top-ranked universities in the US. With technology pervading how traditional businesses function, the industry’s appetite for postgraduates has increased tremendously. The average salary for postgraduates in analytics and technology is well over $1,00,000,” shared Nitish Jain, President, SP Jain.
