Start-up placement fair at IIM-A, a novel experience for students

The Entrepreneurship Club of India's top business school, IIM Ahmedabad, recently hosted a placement event, Entre Fair, in association with the B-school's Placement Committee and Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE).

Entre Fair facilitates interactions among start-ups and students and works as a platform that gives students an opportunity to work in a start-up and get exposure in emerging businesses.

The event was open to all the students from Ahmedabad and recorded over 600 footfalls through the day. Students had a chance to interact with startups such as Zopper, Innobytes, UpGrad, Nessa, and TeachForIndia.

Start-ups from various backgrounds including technology, e-commerce, education, and energy, participated in the fair and offered diverse roles that suited students coming from different educational backgrounds.

The event also hosted a speaker session with Ronnie Screwvala, producer of well-known movies like Rang de Basanti and Jodha Akbar . Screwala talked about his own entrepreneurial journey and encouraged students to pursue their passions.
