Stella Maris College (SMC) in Chennai has announced admissions for a stand-alone postgraduate certificate course in International Business, scheduled to start in June this year. In addition to this, the institute has also collaborated with the Liverpool Hope University Business School (LHUBS) in the UK. On successful completion of the certificate course with a distinction, the students may seek admission to the LHUBS's flagship International MBA.
This is the second time SMC is collaborating with Liverpool Hope University; the first one being a partnership between the Department of Social Work and the university for cross-cultural research and field work supervision.
The course is open to fresh graduates and working professionals. The courses, taken together (SMC and LHBS), are of 12-month duration. The programmes are developed to prepare students for a career in business and management in a global context.
