The Manipal-based TA Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) will conduct the third edition of its annual finance conclave, Finomenal ’16, in Manipal from October 14 to 16.
Organised by the Finance Forum of TAPMI, Finomenal ’16 is a student-run initiative aimed at bringing together economists, chief executive officers, bankers, fund managers and regulators to discuss recent trends, emerging issues, challenges and opportunities in the world of finance. The theme for Finomenal ’16 is "Risks, Reforms, Regulations".
The Hindu Business Line is the media partner for Finomenal ’16.
Harsha Upadhyaya, Chief Investment Officer of Equity and Fund Manager at Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Co Ltd, will inaugurate the conclave on October 15.
Finomenal ’16 will include events such as ‘Investors Inc’, ‘Confluence’, and ‘Echo’.
‘Investors Inc’ is an inter-collegiate wealth management event, and ‘Confluence – Initiate, Negotiate, Propagate’ simulates a trade summit. ‘Echo’ is a series of panel discussions and interactive sessions. Industry leaders will share their experiences and insights on the pressing issues of today’s financial world, it said.
Finomenal’16 will also witness the ‘TAPMI Bloomberg Olympiad’ on October 14 and 15. This event aims to create a platform to employ Bloomberg’s technological solutions to resolve managerial problems. Bloomberg LP has collaborated with TAPMI to conduct the Olympiad.
