Students of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore launched their annual cultural fest, Unmaad 2020, with performances by artistes from all over the world as part of the World Cultural Fiesta (WCF). Themed ‘Box Office Edition’, this year Unmaad is hosting a range of events from January 31 – February 2.
Unmaad 2020 saw the day begin with ‘ Nukkad Natak’ , an event where participants from colleges across the country shared social messages through plays. Young musicians held sway at ‘B-Tuned’ and ‘Can You Duet?’. ‘Wordopedia’, a quiz, and a game of charades was hosted.
The Fashion and Fine Arts segment had the crowd cheer as participants themed their entries around movies of yore, while ‘Caught in the Act’, an acrylic poster-making contest, gave the participants a chance to showcase their brush strokes. Euphoria, an Indian pop rock band, performed. The first day of Unmaad 2020 ended with ‘Unplugged Nights’ featuring bonfires and music.
