Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (WeSchool) has been awarded a five-star rating at the Annual Performance Rating of Institutions’ Innovation Council (IIC) in Higher Educational Institutes (HEI) for the IIC 2.0 the calendar year 2019-20 by Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC).
The award acknowledges WeSchool’s endeavour for hosting events to promote innovation and start-up culture. The Minister of Education, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal along with Sanjay ShamraoDhotre, Minister of State, Ministry of Education (MoE) graced the event.
Speaking about the five-star award, Dr UdaySalunkhe, Group Director, SP WeSchool, said, “The reward is an appreciation to the WeSchool IIC team of faculty, staff and student council for enabling the sense of curiosity for learning among the student participants through our campus events. The institute continues to stay committed to contributing to our nation’s agenda and placing India on the global map for invention and entrepreneurship.”
