XAT 2020: Last day to register is November 30

The exam is scheduled on Jan 5; NRIs and foreign candidates can apply through GMAT score

With registrations closing on November 30, XLRI — Xavier School of Management, calls for the final registrations for the upcoming XAT 2020 (Xavier Aptitude Test). It is scheduled to be held on January 5.

Fr P Christie SJ, Director, XLRI, said:“XLRI has been conducting XAT on behalf of XAMI for over 60 years on an all India level to select the most suitable students for management education. XAT, though one of the oldest competitive examinations in the country, has always kept pace with the cutting-edge testing methodology. XAT’s multi-dimensional testing framework is designed to meaningfully assess the aptitude of candidates for future business success. The examination focuses on a multi-dimensional examination structure and fairness, to assess candidates aspiring to be future business leaders.”

Over 150 institutes accept score

Besides XLRI, the XAT score is accepted by more than 150 Indian institutes.

XAT 2020 would be conducted in 72 centres.

The candidates holding recognised bachelors degree of minimum three years duration or equivalent in any discipline, or students completing their final examination by June 10, 2020, are eligible to appear. NRIs and foreign candidates can apply through GMAT score. Results are expected to be declared by January 31.

Fr Christie said: “XAT 2020 is extremely significant for XLRI, as from this year, we would start accepting applications for the first batch for our new XLRI Delhi-NCR campus with two sections of PGDBM programme, which is subject to the formal approval from AICTE.”
