XLRI announces admissions to virtual programmes

Will be offered across its 56 study centers

Premier business school XLRI Jamshedpur has announced admissions to its Virtual Interactive Learning (VIL) courses in Business Management (PG Certificate) (batch – 28) and Human Resource Management (batch – 20). The programmes would be conducted through the Hughes (HGIL) platform at its 56 study centers across the country.

The last date for online registration is 27th May. Applicants need to have a minimum of two years' work experience (as on May 2015) after completion of graduation or equivalent.

The course fee for the PGCBM and PGCHRM programmes is Rs 2.25 lakh and is payable over 4 installments.

The one-year online programme also includes a five-day intensive learning called the ‘campus component’ at XLRI Jamshedpur.

“These programmes have been designed for working executives to upgrade their business acumen, hone their managerial skills that would add value to them personally as well as professionally in their careers without leaving their jobs, cities and families," said AK Pani, Associate Dean of VIL programmes in a statement. "Campus component forms an integral part of our VIL programme. During their five-day stay on campus all students will go through intensive learning.”

Certificates for the programmes along with 'alumni status' will be awarded at a full-fledged formal graduation ceremony at XLRI, Jamshedpur.
