Freshdesk, a synonym of creativity and exuberance

A student delegate from Indian School of Business (ISB) visited the Freshdesk office in Chennai recently. If one dreams of working at a fun office, they should give Freshdesk a try. A growing start-up with 800 to 1,000 employees and spearheaded by astute leadership, the organisation is buzzing with technical innovation in the field of customer support software.

And I’m proud to say that the start-up has expressed interest in the talent pool of ISB for the roles of product managers and in pre-sales. The COO of Freshdesk and an MIT graduate, Nishant spent some time with the students on their visit in a relaxed and informal session. He told us his growth story and focus areas for Freshdesk.

The head of pre-sales, Vinod took time out of his busy schedule to explain the working of Freshdesk, from conceptualisation to product development. Excited by the launch of their new chat tool, Freshchat, the entire team was focused on doing their best.

Nishant explained, if you take care of your employees, they will take care of your customers, and it will automatically lead to an increase in value of shares. This philosophy echoed amongst the happy employees, including ISB alumni whom we met during our visit. The office emits energy that makes its employees innovative and smart working.

What Freshdesk looks for in its employees is a keen sense of problem solving and influencing skills with which they can bring great products to its customers in an organic fashion. They are constantly on the look-out for intelligent and talented people who are a great cultural fit and who can work as a team.
