Mahindra University opens admissions for BTech

École Centrale School of Engineering, Mahindra University (MU) Hyderabad, has announced admissions for BTech. Programmes for the academic year 2022-23.

The University, promoted by Tech Mahindra, offers specialisations in 12 disciplines such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Computer Engineering (ECM) and Nano Technology (NT).

“We have introduced four new specialisations in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Biotechnology (BT) and Computational Biology (CB) and Computational Media (COM) this year,” Yajulu Medury, Vice-Chancellor of Mahindra University, said.

The university plans to induct 780 students. The last date for receipt of applications for the early admissions is July 15.

“All our BTech specialisations balance academic learning with real-world experience through entrepreneurial projects. We aim to train multi-skilled leaders who can address the complex problems of today to drive innovation that enables inclusive and sustainable growth and progress,” he said in a statement.

“Research-based learning with a flexible curriculum design helps the students gain the best of both worlds -- academics and entrepreneurial projects. A specialisation of choice along with experiential learning will help the students develop a managerial and entrepreneurial mindset,” Bishnu P Pal, Dean School of Engineering and Academics of the University said.

Eligibility

Admissions will be on JEE/SAT/ACT scores or on the grades in the Class XII exams. The eligible students will be counselled online for the branches available. For admission based on class 12 grades, Students are required to get a minimum of 80 per cent in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
