SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), a Deemed-to-be University, has signed MoUs with seven leading corporates across various sectors. The major objective of these MoUs is to address the demand-supply problem in human resources in sectors such as agriculture and biotechnology.

Th institute signed MoUs with the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid-Tropics, Sri Bioaesthetics, Varsha Bioscience and Technology India Technology, Tripura Biotech, Prathista Industries Limited, Agri Life, and Vaishnavi Biotech Limited.

“The stakeholders will collaborate in imparting training and consulting services to prepare technical and managerial manpower,” Tapan Kumar Panda, Director of NMIMS, said in a statement. “This industry-academia partnership will ensure consistent supply of highly skilled workforce in the fast-emerging agribusiness and agritech sector in Telangana,” he said.
